Home away from home

This Utah girl has loved living in Edinburgh for the last 2 years. I also look forward to living here for the next two years. There are a lot of things to do in Edinburgh. Of those I probably haven’t done as many as I should have for the amount of time I have lived here. It is a bit like when you live right next to Mt. Rushmore, you don’t go everyday. But people visiting will be there and think it is amazing. I find that I don’t always give the wonders of Edinburgh my full time as I live here I think “I can do that anytime.” But what I have seen I can highly recommend.

If you are a hill walker/hiker Arthurs seat gives a great view of the city. Going a bit further to the Pentlands provides a little more effort to climb the hill and a fantastic view that is slightly different. If your lucky you might run into some Highland Coos as well.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, there are many places you need to see when you get here. Elephant House is a great cafe to eat as well as see where some of the Harry Potter magic and inspiration was written down. Not to mention all the wand shops that we have around here. You might even find a broom to zoom around Edinburgh as well.
